It's been a while (update in my life)

Hello, my dear, beautiful readers. Welcome back.

It has been like, forever, since I last put fingers to keyboard. To say I've been busy is a bit of an understatement. So many changes have been happening in my life. I'm still alive, so they haven't killed me yet, these changes.

The biggest problem I have had in continuing to share my life and stories is my laptop. It doesn't go wireless anymore. So I can't sit all comfie in my living room chair, type, ponder as I look out the front window at the driveway and yard, drinking coffee that is on the hot plate, with my legs curled up to keep my back from hurting. Too late. Just this short time and my back hurts and my neck is now killing me. Papa has a 50' cord he's bringing home... so I am gunna... have ta, stop for now. This chair is just not comfie. Stay tuned!

Well, I am back, cord attached to laptop, me curled up on my favorite chair, surrounded by my Min Pins, coffee on the hot plate, the view of the front yard and driveway to my left, and me, contemplating the universe... Miss me???

The biggest thing I think I would like to be thankful for is my health. Now mind you, it isn't the best, and I have experienced a weight gain due to lack of activity, but since my doctor put me back on my anti inflammatory pills, NO BACK PAIN!!! YEAH!!!

My grandson Henry's new 'Dude' outfit.
There have been some changes too. The biggest is the grandma thing. Yep, gunna be a grandma again. A little dude. He's due in like 4 weeks, but who's counting, certainly not my daughter, (wink). Six years ago, I was not ready to be a grandma when Aba came around, (I felt I was to young) but now, Henry on the way, I am ready. I feel I am old enough.

Yep, fired up the wood stove.
My front yard
And while we still have our 80 acres up for sale, I still enjoy walking around and taking pictures. Jehovah God certainly has blessed us with #earthart. And the people I follow on Instagram and my friends on Facebook post some of the most beautiful pictures from around the world. Truly, beautiful. Every where we go, every where we turn, there is some type of earth art worthy of capture from a lens. That is our gift from Jehovah.

Another gift from Jehovah is the spiritual food given us. Just recently, we attend the 'Increase Your Faith in Jehovah!" convention is Frankfort, Kentucky. We learned from the scriptures:

Getting ready for our Spiritual Food

  • 1) Why is it necessary in all circumstances to have faith? (Mark 11:22
  • 2) What Benefits come from meditating on word pictures about Jehovah? (Ps. 28:7; Luke 11:11-13; Deut. 32:4; Ps. 23:1)
  • 3) How can we increase our faith? (Mark 9:24)
  • 4) What is "the sin that easily entangles us," and how can we avoid it? (Heb 12:1)
  • 5) What gives us confidence that those with genuine faith will be rewarded? (Heb. 11:6)

My sistas!
The thing that most stuck with me is 'digging.' We have to dig for spiritual gems. Oh yes, it is good to read God's word, the Bible, but it is better to dig, to really find out, what Jehovah is trying to tell us. Always, there is the learning of more information, and the drawing closer to our creator. Do we dig? Do I? Not like I should. I have been know to rush through a lesson. Digging is required. Must dig more.
My new brother in Christ!

And of course, like I have been proud to mention, I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and I have the biggest, most loving family, evah! 8 million and growing. And of course, from our evah?!
local congregation, we have a newly baptized brother! I love my brothers and sisters. We all have trials, tribulations, but most of all, we have love. I have the bestest family, did I mention,
Jehovah provided the scenery!

I could go on, and on, and on, but I feel I should stop now. I am happy. I am content. It could be better, but... it could be worse.

Thanks, guys, for reading, and allowing me to share a bit of my life with you. I hope to talk again with y'all real soon.

And as always, feel free to share this blog.
